The chamber had only three visible exits: two identical wooden doors side by side in front of me, and the door from which I had entered. After some ferocious knob-jiggling, kicking, and punching, I quickly realized that there was no way back, and that I had to choose one of the two doors. One I knew led to the outside world, however the other led to eternal suffering.
